Resuming Baby Innocence

Yutang Lin

Foolishly playing tricks would eventually do much harm;
Entanglements and plotting would not cease for a second.
Seeing through worldly worries to stop contrived actions;
Return to being pure and sincere, it is simply comfortable.

Comment:

Contrived activities arise from the claim to aim at gaining benefits;
Unexpectedly the calculative mind would yield ever-deeper snares.
Earlier to cease foolish trickery and settle for being just minuscule;
Deep wisdom sweeps all delusions to reveal a baby-like innocence.
