今日接到弟子傳來多種有情之母子依偎照片集，深為其中透露之「親情一般」所感動，故轉傳之，以供佛友眾同賞。親情之祥和若能普及，何慮世間之不太平？吾人可修觀眾生皆為宿世親子之緣，而以親情之慈祥充於應對之間

Parent-offspring Bond Yutang Lin
Be it a sentient being that runs on earth or flies in sky
Looking after its offspring with same tender kindness
Sizes and appearances drastically differ in thousand ways
Facing their own issue all so serene and gentle in manners
Comment:
Today I received a collection of photos showing parent-and-offspring-together of many kinds of sentient beings, and I was moved by the "same kind of parent-offspring bond" that came across, so I forwarded them to Dharma friends for sharing. If the peace and serenity among parent and offspring could spread and prevail, there would be no need to worry about that the world were not in peace. We could practice to regard all sentient beings as having some parent-offspring connection with us in some past lives, and hence we try to apply the tender kindness of parent-offspring bond in our daily interaction with others.
