      Dharma practices and activities
Cannot be disassociated from observation on and understanding of the world
Thereby one gains realization and appreciation of the truths of
Impermanence and accumulation of sufferings in the worldly existence
Consequently, one seeks paths of ultimate emancipation
And learns to practice the Buddha Dharma
So as to free oneself as well as all other beings from such endless suffering
No matter how diligently one engages in Dharma practices
And has sustained such efforts for how many months and years
If in the mind there is lacking of genuine compassion and merciful will
To save all ordinary sentient beings in the world
All those efforts and activities are simply deeds of personal idiosyncrasy
        That could not cultivate Bodhicitta
And consequently would not bring one closer to the right awakening
      Beyond words and expressions
        Permeating everywhere all the time
Fully aware of sufferings of beings and their lack of free choices
And their inevitable engulfment in the cycling of mutual oppressions
And yet never forget to apply Dharma activities and propagations
To sustain and spread the endless and boundless salvation
Only such kind of universal compassion is
The genuine brilliant lamp of Bodhicitta
Sons and daughters of Buddha Dharma
Let this kind of lamp fire be lighted in your mind
