If one thinks of oneself as very knowledgeable, very right, and quite capable
One would readily engage in worldly matters and getting more and more involved
      Realizing one's lack of knowledge
Seeing many facets of worldly matters and noticing their relativity
One would not insist on self-righteous views
Comprehending the speedy changes of all matters
And the all-too-limited boundaries of one's ability and energy
Only then can one let go and refrain from meddling into trifles
      This life which is limited
Once learned not to be wasted on insignificant quarrels and trifles
Should be employed to make some offering
Hoping to exhibit values of life and inner qualities of truth, beauty and goodness
Through contributions made in enhancing collective well-being
If one could comprehend the teachings of Buddha Dharma
One would know that only practicing selflessness can yield no harmful consequences
And the only way to practice selflessness is by following the Dharma
That was born of absolute and original selflessness
Since the goal of Dharma is to help all sentient beings attain full enlightenment
The genuine aspiration and vow toward this goal is
The Bodhicitta which constitutes a Dharma practitioner's initiative and driving force
To attain emancipation, transcending the aggregate of suffering in the worldly realms
Would require a foundation formed by reflections and attitudes mentioned above, and
All these were taught from Buddha's harmonious union of wisdom and compassion
