有關「定於空性」之開示


Disciple Jing Xing raised questions on two Sadhanas below.
弟子敬行對兩個儀軌提出問題如下:

我的答覆如下:

一、一般傳統的儀軌之收攝次第,本尊收入空性時,最後收入「拉打」,即種子字之上端,收入更微細處,稍住,然後歸空。
This is returning to Blank Essence through visualization.
這是經由觀想歸於空性。

二、而上師之〈證契儀軌〉,則修習「一氣」,逐漸淡化,終至全法界之融入「無雲晴空」之光明。
This is returning to Blank Essence through wind practice.
這是以經由修氣歸於空性。
Mind and wind are ultimately inseparable, and through one direction one can reach the other.
心與氣終究是不可分的,因此經由一方即能達到另一方。

三、但在〈常課簡軌〉之「應化」,又是「行者化藍光歸於空性。定於一切歸空之無雲晴空。」但若行者未有禪定功夫,恐怕無法如此直接進入「定」中。
This is a simplified ritual, so it had simplified the returning to Blank Essence through visualization. Simple rituals are for ordinary practitioners or beginners to become familiar with the outline of more subtle and complex rituals, so it does not give details and do not expect its practitioners can really attain deep realizations. Hence, there is no need to supply the details here. As to 定, Dhyana, its cultivation belongs to other practices, and those are assumed as basic to this kind of rituals. Of course, one can still advance in Dhyana through familiarity with this kind of rituals. Rituals are for practitioners to approach, there is no guarantee that practitioners can achieve it at once.
這是一個簡軌,因此它簡化了以觀想歸於空性的過程。簡軌是供一般的行者或初學者熟悉更加細微和複雜的儀軌的輪廓,因此它沒有提供細節而且並不期望該儀軌之修習者能夠真正証達深的成就。因此,便不需要在此給予細節了。至於定,禪那(梵語),的培養則是屬於其他的修持法,而那些修法是被假定為此類儀軌的基礎。當然,行者也可以經由熟悉此類的儀軌而在定上長進。儀軌是給行者去修習,但無法保證修持者可以即刻獲得成果。
