Compassion for War in Southern Europe

Yutang Lin

Turns of events spread like wild fire scorching over a plain;
Outpour of opinions sounds like sweeping wind shaking a forest.
Penetrate sounds to realize emptiness and empathy of the suffering;
For thousands of years compassionate tears have never stop dripping.

Comments:

The fire of war is spreading in southern Europe. All in its way are suffering beyond comprehension. All sorts of opinions are aired to no avail. Penetrate sounds to realize emptiness and become free from prejudices; thus directly melt into oneness with the victims and deeply feel the suffering. From time without beginning the suffering of sentient beings has never ceased a moment, and the outpour of compassion from Buddhas has never waned.
