Applauding Charitable Activities

Yutang Lin

Applauding charitable activities despite duplications.
Their chances and consequences are unpredictable.
Practice makes perfect to benefit more appropriately.
Remain humble and practical to glean grains of wisdom.

Comments:

When people are doing charitable activities, always applaud and praise them. Even though there are duplications one refrains from making remarks that could discourage the efforts. This is because the chances and consequences of such activities are unpredictable, and only by encouraging all such endeavors would there be more people benefited. Engaging in charitable activities would put one in contact with many kinds of people and cause one to go through various situations; consequently one would learn expedient ways to serve others more appropriately. Nevertheless, one should strive to remain practical and humble lest one falls into the unhealthy practices of working on images and indulging in self-esteem.
