Deep Silence

Yutang Lin

Birds chirp and insects trill to compete in advertisement;
Now and then they rest in silence to yield to others a bit.
As grasping to self evaporated, it is plain to comprehend:
In deep silence Dharmakaya allows all sounds to ramble.

Comments:

It is not easy to attain a humble mind that listens. Pouring words at will is just following careless arrogance. Even when one has learned to pause and listen, it is still difficult to mute the thoughts. Only after grasping has evaporated could great silence be attained.
