Blind in Mind

Dr. Yutang Lin

Who could treat blindness that came with birth?
Blindness of mind would be even harder to cure.
Grasping one's views to the exclusion of others',
Not to mention knowing fully all things exactly.

Comment:

There are some people in the world that have biased views and yet asserting their prejudices as truth. Such people could not understand views other than their own. They would always interpret others' activities from their own point of view. This is like blind in mind, and incurable. Such people could not even go beyond prejudices, not to mention to transcend all views and enter the right and full omniscience of Buddha. Thus we realize that to save all sentient beings from suffering in ignorance to full enlightenment is easier said than done.
