Standing Still

Yutang Lin

Far away from worldly bustle amidst clean forest trees,
Silently standing still in oneness of whole Dharmadhatu.
Realized to join Dharma efforts instead of worldly fuss,
Lucky Buddhists would come pilgrimage on their own.

Comment:

In oneness of Dharmadhatu, standing silently at ease. Far away from worldly manners, abiding peacefully in nature. Compassionate mind encompasses extensively, while fortunate connections gradually spread. Having renounced worldly ways to follow the Dharma path, only then could one witness the holy countenance.

(This work is in praise of the naturally formed Guan Yin statue as described in my previous work, "Naturally Formed Holy Statue.")
