Six Similes of Receiving Blessings
      Yutang Lin

      Like dreams
In lucid dreams there were guidance of Bodhisattvas and assignment of teachers.
      Like mirages
Years have gone by, difficult to recall such matters, no longer take them serious.
      Like bubbles
Sorrows arose like bubbles, hindrance present.
      Like shadows
Knots of mind unable to untie, covering like shadows.
      Like dew drops
Grace of Buddha and grace of Dharma are like dew drops, soon to be forgotten.
      Like lightning
Only until the awakening of original clarity, like lightning, knocks down grasping to self, will luminous state of mind reappear.
This is a variation of the previous work, Receiving Blessings.
