How much could it be
That one can consume, wear and enjoy
Beyond that could not be borne
Too much definitely leads to waste and redundant burden
Indeed only suitable amount is adequate and enjoyable

Others offering something
Declining could hurt feelings
　　Causing wondering on whether it is the person or the thing being rejected
Gladly accepted would yield no harm
　　Surplus may be redistributed for sharing

Well-acquainted people sent gift
Told them no need to offer it well-packaged
Rather to have the packaging opened for apportioning
So many can share the goodies
And both giver and receiver enjoy together
