One Drop inside Ocean

Yutang Lin

Inside ocean deep one drop could not be distinguished.
The totality as one water allows no conceptual debates.
Amidst this flow of evolving immediate experiences,
How could a drop of "self" be chosen out as distinct?

Comments:

Inside deep ocean one "drop" cannot be distinguished; it is merely a delusive concept. By the same token, inside the totality of immediate experiences it is also impossible to recognize an independently existing "self"; it is merely a deluded grasping. When this fact is clearly comprehended dualistic mentality cannot subsist.
