The Train Departed
       Yutang Lin

        One's own grasping
Is very difficult to be realized by oneself
      What others said
Or statements made according to the Dharma
        Could hardly be readily acceptable
        Wouldn't that be too cold-blooded
        Wouldn't that cause others pain
All sorts of questions just kept turning up
      The train departed
Whoever failed to catch it had to stay behind
Whatever forgot to bring along had to be done without
Could it be up to you
Mind's eye open and wide, could see
All move on like flood spreading
And would not keep murmuring inside
Still trapped within the self-knitted net of thoughts
Even when already flown into the great ocean
Would still be tied up with enumerating details of the source
