La pratica del Dharma dipende dalle scelte di percorso di ciascuno;
In generale, una volta armonizzata, ogni via funziona.
Repressi dalle prescrizioni in sempre più angusti vicoli,
La risurrezione dal definitivo trapasso diverrebbe assai difficile.
Commento:
Lo scopo degli insegnamenti buddisti consiste, per gli esseri senzienti, nell’ evitare d’essere confinati dai concetti e dalle forme ma piuttosto di riacquisire la purezza originale innata del Tutto nell’Unicità.
In quanto a motivazione e grado d’impegno, essi variano a seconda degli individui e dipendono dalle inclinazioni personali nonché dalla percezione del significato del Dharma.
Se quanto sopra menzionato è ben capito, allora tutti i tipi di pratiche possono essere prese come strumenti per assisterci nella comprensione dell'armonia del Tutto. E di qui, dovrebbe essere compito di ognuno scegliere il percorso che è più appropriato alla reale situazione individuale.
Quando vengono stipulati regolamenti troppo restrittivi, ciò potrebbe produrre l’involontaria conseguenza di rendere le persone sempre più meschine. Ciononostante, situazioni estremamente disperate potrebbero spingerebbero le persone a ricercare la Via della liberazione, per poi giungere al Sentiero della pratica del risveglio. Considerando tale possibilità, è probabile che le regolamentazioni e le limitazioni parimenti aiutino le persone al risveglio, e dunque non c’è bisogno di porle in discussione. Nel considerare la totale armonia del Tutto, gli estremi si toccano. Nel Sutra del Diamante, dice il Tathagata: “Ogni cosa è l’oggetto Buddico”, proprio per questo motivo.

Dharma practice is up to one's choice of path;
The totality once harmonized any route works.
Forced by regulations into ever-narrower horn,
Resurrection from dead end would be difficult.
Comment:
The goal of Buddhist teachings is for sentient beings to be no longer confined by concepts and forms but instead resume the original purity born of all in oneness. As to motivation and degree of engagement they vary with individuals and depend on personal inclination and understanding of the significance of Dharma. If the above is understood properly, then all sorts of practices may be taken as tools to facilitate one's comprehension of the harmony of all. And hence it should be up to each individual to choose the path that is more suitable to the real situation. When regulations are stipulated to set limits counter results of running into ever-narrower horn may turn up. Nevertheless, extremely desperate situations might drive people to search for paths of liberation, and then step onto practice path of awakening. Taking this possibility into consideration, even regulations and limitations might help people to become awakened, and hence need not be criticized.
Viewing the whole arena from harmony of all in oneness anything goes. In the Diamond Sutra, Tathagata says, "All things are all Buddha's things," because of this view.
