Moving Words

Yutang Lin

Moving words
Emotional expressions
Vary with people and dependent on occasions

Matters of limitless-oneness allow no preferences
Swiped away subtle lingering of my thoughts

Let go and run toward the ferry wharf
Inspired someone to practice Dharma diligently

Just as special character aroused particular fondness
And different circumstances made one recall
Appropriate lines of a poem, certain phrasing of a lyric

What could not be elucidated in words, one says
Moon represents my heart
Moon wanes and waxes, in clear sky or behind clouds
Sometimes it is invisible, what the actual state is
Only Heaven knows

Smiling face of a pure and innocent maiden inspired
The unison of Sweet Like Honey
